Favorite Beauty Products

I have to be honest. Finding the best beauty products hasn’t always been easy, in my opinion. For starters, my skin is pretty sensitive, and so I never really liked the idea of trying something new. But over time, I have learned a thing or two about makeup and other beauty products, and I thought I would share with you all some of my go-to products, as well as my makeup-routine.

From foundation and concealer to primers and eye-shadow, to lip-stick to mascara, and so much more.

I have also linked where you can find these products. Let’s get started, shall we?

I always wash my face before putting on make-up. And if there are any little blemishes, I use e.l.f Acne Fighting Spot Gel with Aloe and Maybelline Baby Skin Instant pore eraser.

e.l.f Acne Fighting Spot Gel with Aloe $2.00 (I got mine at Target, however, you can also purchase it online from e.l.fs’ website)

Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser $5.59 (Target)

Then I use Murad’s Skin Perfecting Lotion, which I received in my Spring FabFitFun Box. But you can purchase it at Ulta, Nordstrom, Macy’s, Sephora, Overstock.com, eBay. (I have added the links to each store).

Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion

I use this in the morning and before I go to bed. It keeps my skin incredibly soft and doesn’t make it oily, as there are some lotions that will make your skin oily and cause acne. I absolutely love this skin perfecting lotion!

I then use Garnier SkinActive Soothing Facial Mist made with Rose Water. I know ULTA has Rose Water Facial Mist, however, I really love the Garnier brand, and it’s super affordable. I got mine at Target.

Garnier SkinActive Soothing Facial Mist made with Rose Water $6.99

Next I use Maybelline master PRIME on my cheeks and sometimes my chin and forehead, anywhere that I get red. This product works as a primer + base, it helps to blur and reduce redness control.

Maybelline master PRIME primer + base by Facestudio $7.89

I also use a primer on my eyes before putting on eye-shadow. My go-to eye-shadow primer is by e.l.f in Pearl from Target.

e.l.f. Shadow Lock Eyelid Primer in Pearl $1.99

I use KIKO milano’s UnLimited Foundation. I love this because it feels light but it gives great coverage.

KIKO MILANO UNLIMITED FOUNDATION (Sunscreen broad spectrum SPF 15) in Cool Rose 20 $22

I also love Too Faced Born This Way concealer. I got this as a sample from Sephora, however, I have linked where you can purchase this product.

Obsessed with this powder from KIKO. Plus, it’s their holiday edition so it smells like holiday baked goods. Which who doesn’t want their face smelling like a Holiday cookie?!

Arctic Holiday Baked Powder in Ivory $10.90

For eye-shadow, I like to switch it up sometimes. I go back and forth between Too Faced Natural Eyes, ProFusion Pro Face professional Face kit, and DOUCCE Freematic Eye Shadow Pro Palette (which I received in my Winter FabFitFun box).

Natural Eyes Too Faced (Macy’s) $36.00

I usually use nude, push-up, Silk Teddy, and Honey Pot.

Profusion Cosmetics Pro Face Professional Face Kit – 15pc $12.99 (Target)

doucce freematic eyeshadow Pro Palette Smokey Eye (Fabfitfun box). However, you can purchase it off of eBay and sites like mercari beauty.

My signature look is definitely liquid eye-liner on my top lid. However, I am obsessed with this black Graphic Marker Eyeliner for that perfect line or perfect cat-eye.

Wet n Wild ProLine Graphic Marker Eyeliner – Black – .84 oz $3.99 (Target)

My eyebrows are super light, so I like to touch them up with an eyebrow pencil. I use a light blonde pencil because I want them to still look natural but stand out slightly. (so it looks like I actually have eyebrows– blonde-haired problems)

First I use, Eylure Eyebrow Pencil No. 30 BLONDE $6.99

And then I just fill it in lightly with SEPHORA COLLECTION Brow Thickener Blonde $6.00

IMG_5809

I always put setting spray before my mascara because otherwise, the black from your mascara will get all under your eyes and no one wants raccoon eyes.

I usually use Urban Decay Long-Lasting Setting Spray from Sephora, however, lately, I have been using NYX Matte Finish setting spray and it works wonders!

NYX Professional Makeup Setting Spray Matte $5.99 (Target)

I use two different kinds of mascara and often switch back and forth. If I want a lighter feel– I go for benefit Roller Lash. But if I want thick eyelashes (like maybe for a date or night out on the town) then I opt for Covergirl Peacock Flare.

Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara $24.00

COVERGIRL Peacock Flare Mascara $7.89

Sometimes I like a little pop on my lips. I don’t always wear lipstick, however, for most of my life– I have worn a lot of lipstick! I just love the fun colors, and this ISH Lip Statement Palette that I received in my Spring Fabfitfun box is AMAZING! I absolutely LOVE the assortments of bright colors but also neutrals.

IMG_5814

I often wear the first two pinks, and the fourth, fifth & eighth color. However, I do love a red statement lip. And what I love about this ISH palette is how long it lasts! (since I got mine in my FabFitFun box, I have linked you guys where you may be able to purchase it elsewhere)

Lip Statement Palette

ISH- $42.00

Amazon.com- $31.86

Poshmark- $10.00-$17.00

Last but not least, one of my favorite hair products is nelson j Beverly Hills Moisture Healing Mask (FabFitFun Winter Box).

This stuff is a godsend! I use it every time after I get out of the shower and rinse my hair in my towel. I put it on before I blow dry my hair– as it works as a hair protector, as well. Plus it makes my hair smell amazing, it doesn’t make it look greasy (I never put it on my scalp.. only on the bottom half of my hair), and it makes my hair incredibly soft! My hair tends to get really tangled due to the fact that it is super wavy. But thank goodness for this as it has helped repair my hair in so many ways!

I have linked where you guys can purchase this lovely hair creation!

nelson j Beverly Hills Moisture Healing Mask (Argan oil-formula, Coconut)

nelson j Beverly Hills- $23.00

Amazon.com- $22.99
